A Minnesota transplant by way of Texas, Ashley earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and English Literature from Minnesota State University, Mankato (MNSU), after which she completed her Master’s program at MNSU in English: Technical Communication with an emphasis in document design and usability. Ashley has written for publications such as LandLocked Magazine, T.O.F.U. Magazine, and She recently published her first textbook, Technical Communication Field Guide. In addition to teaching, Ashley is a digital marketing consultant and high school softball coach.
