MASS221W (Basic Writing for Mass Media) pre-requisites:
Students should take ENG101 and MASS110 prior to registering for MASS221W.

How to get into a section of MASS221W (Basic Writing for Mass Media):

• MASS110 and ENG101 are required.  Students may take MASS110 along with MASS221W with instructor permission.
• Seats are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. If a section is full by the time you register, you can place yourself on a waitlist within e-Services.

Permissions:
At times, instructors may give permission for students to take another Mass Communication course simultaneously with MASS221W (Basic Writing for Mass Communication). These courses may include MASS233, MASS290 and MASS412. Contact your advisor for more information.
