Biography:
Pianist, David Viscoli, has performed extensively in the United States, Canada, Europe, Central America, and Asia. Performances of note include recitals at the National Theatre in Panama, the Japanese Embassy and the National University of Arts in Taiwan, Chung-Ang University in Korea, the Teatro Rosalia Castro in A Coruña, Spain, and the Palais Corbelli in Vienna, Austria.  He has also performed at major universities in North America. In addition, he has performed with principal members of the Minnesota Orchestra, the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, and the Orquesta Sinfónica de Galicia. 

David Viscoli has participated in summer festivals including the Festival de Música Alfredo De Saint-Malo (Panama), the Aspen Music Festival, and the Music Festival of Florida at Sarasota. He has performed on radio and television broadcasts throughout the United States. His recordings are found on MnSpin and the Eroica label.

After earning his Bachelor of Music degree at The University of Texas at Austin, David Viscoli attended The University of Southern California where he received his Masters and Doctoral degrees as a student of John Perry.  He has won awards in the Los Angeles Liszt Competition, the Carmel Music Society Piano Competition, and the Joanna Hodges International Piano Competition. His students have also won numerous awards. He is currently a Professor of Piano and Distinguished Faculty Scholar at Minnesota State University, Mankato.
