“Two main reasons for Minnesota State Mankato, the aviation program and the Maverick Machine! It is close to home for me which also played a role. When I was looking at coming to school both the Aviation program and the band were just starting to grow and I wanted to be a part of that growth with each. My high school didn’t have a marching band but I loved band itself and I'm very athletic and love sports so the marching band seemed like a great fit for me!”
