Jazz Mavericks Performance

The Jazz Mavericks Big Band will perform on Sunday, Oct. 8, at  3 p.m. in the Elias J. Halling Recital Hall of the Earley Center for Performing Arts, 320 Maywood Ave.

The Jazz Mavericks is a large contemporary ensemble. Traditionally formed as a jazz big band, this ensemble has expanded to include multiple instruments and vocalists performing a broad range of jazz related repertoire (jazz, rock, funk, Latin, hip-hop, etc.).

Douglas Snapp directs the Jazz Mavericks. The program will include traditional big band arrangements and arrangements of current pop music.
